I just installed my fp gauge using the kit from Geno's that taps into the schrader valve and I am reading 10 idle, 5 WOT with a new filter. This doesn't seem right. When the dealer replaced the VP44 and did the intake pump they said I would see up to 21 Psi. Any ideas? or is this in take pump possibly going out on and not worth my time. #@$%!

actually sounds really GOOD for an "in the tank" pump. Most people are drawing theirs down to 0psi.

That's right! The dealer was pulling your leg with that 20psi story. If you're getting 10osi at idle you have one of the better in-tank pumps.

When I had my intank I had a reading of 8lbs max and pulled down to 2lbs with ease. That's why I got rid of it... .

ditto on what everyone has said thus far. My intank pump dropped to 0pis at WOT before I even got to WOT. I fixed that with a walbro pump and am now seeing no less than 10psi WOT. It won't be long before that in tank pump of yours will crash and burn. Just be sure to monitor the fuel psi. Depending on who you talk to here 5 psi WOT is minimum. Best of luck.
