SMARTY JR initial report

Just got my Smarty Jr, and installed the first program today (mid setting: "towing" ( + plus 70 HP).



I didn't get much of a chance to evaluate so far as the streets are wet and there is mucho trafico. However! spool-up is definetly faster and acceleration is much improved.



I will follow up in a few days after I have more experience,,,

I now have a full day driving with the newly installed Smarty JR on the "tow setting" (+70 HP)



My impressions:

Turbo spool-up 80% faster.

Butt-O-meter accelorator results:

40% faster than stock.

High Idle: LOVE it! (it was cold this morning)

MPG improvement: Based on overhead maybe 1. 3 better + or - (not enough milage to tell for sure yet)



Overall impression? I LIKE! it!

Well I really don't want to break anything so I am a little cautious.

Oh, and no real increase in smoke under hard accel.

OK!!! the streets were dry, I had the day off, and I loaded #3 Performance

(100HP) YYYYYHHHAAAAA!!! NOW it makes black smoke! Tires break loose @15 MPH when I stand on it. I was thinking that the mid setting of 70 would be just fine for me. I should have never loaded the 100HP cause theres no going back! HEE HEE! I'm just gonna be extra careful with my stock auto trani and that 4. 10 rear end.



ALSO, I noticed when I got back that my "filter minder" gauge on the filter intake was pulled most of the way into the yellow, So I cleaned the Amsoil filter but it didn't seem all that dirty. Maybe I need more air????

you definitely need more air. The stock system is way under sized.
