Hi All,
My 1996 3500 has a worn out steering box. When I tried to purchase a new one from Dodge, my dealer told me all that was available were Dodge reman steering boxes. I purchased and returned two from my Dodge Dealer last week and both of them were total crap! The steering wheel would immeadiately spin to the left when the engine was started on the first reman box and the second reman had such a stiff spot when centered that the steering wheel had to be constantly worked just to get down a straight road. I hope somebody out there can recommend a steering box source that we can trust to sell us a quality product the first time! It really sucks to take all the time to install a "new" box, twice only to have them be defective... ... ... thanks for nothing Dodge!
Thanks, Tom Falicon, BC, NC
