Cheap diesel in Clark County? Usually the station on Lake Mead and Boulder Hwy has been the cheapest and I bought it there yesterday for $1. 59. Such a deal. I'm really thinking of mounting that 100 gallon tank in the bed. The station on Lake Mead and Van whatever it is just east of the Fiesta was . 10 cents higher. They are usually the same price. Do any of you know of a cheaper place. I know Henderson is not close to everyone either. Is anyone out there? Hello.....

The computer said I was getting 18. 2 mpg. Can this thing be trusted? That was driving between 45 and 55 mph on Boulder Hwy. Dropped below 15 mpg bombing down 95 around 70mph and getting passed by EVERYONE.
Why doesn't anyone except me post on this forum? Diesel at Russell and Boulder was as cheap as any place else around. This was at a stop and rob.
Oh yeah, I looked at a 40 gallon aux. tank with an electric pump that the guy wants $400 for and he'll throw in a tool box that is in excellent shape. I already have a 100 gallon square tank and when I find a good buy on a 5th wheel tool box I'll mount it. If you are interested in the 40 gallon tank let me know and I'll give you his number. You may get it for a lot less. Maybe.

My wife and I were down in Reno last night (5-24-08) and spotted a very nice, clean 93 cursing onto the spaghetti bowl. I thought it looked familiar. Went home and took a look at the No. 60 TDR magazine and confirmed that we spotted Ms. Forbus’s AWESOME 93. Very nice Truck!!

Have any of you had any bad experiences with General tires? I was just leaving town on the 20th of June and had just gotten on I15 north at Apex when I heard a roaring sound. Two tires blew out on the right side rear on the same axle. I had just checked the air pressure the night before and they were all at 60#'s. Guess who forgot to take the key to the spare with him? Yeah, right. I wound up taking one good tire off of the left side and limping back to town to swap to a ... . Ford! I only have 19K on the tires and don't drive off road or any thing like that. I ordered new Michelins from Costco so if anyone is interested in 4 Generals, let me know before too long. I was pulling a flatbed trailer with an ATV on it so there shouldn't be any weight issues. Maybe my truck does't want to go to Utah. The last time I had a flat at Speedway road. Just lucky I guess.

I just moved back to NV and got a place in Henderson. They made me scrape my TDR sticker off in VA so I need to get a new one but hopefully I'll see you around.

VA MADE you take the TDR sticker off? Why? Is there a law against stickers there?

There is but it's only enforced sometimes I guess. I picked the wrong inspection station apparently and they didn't like that I had a few stickers on my back window so they made me take them off to pass the safety inspection.

Welcome to Nevada where you can put stickers on your back windows. I thought the laws in CA were bad!

My wife survived the layoff but now we are waiting to see who bumps who. We are keeping our fingers crossed that she doesn't get bumped out.
