Going to Grand Canyon NP and Zion NP. Which RV parks?

Need advice!! Best Batteries

Has anyone by change stayed at Cherry Valley Lakes by Banning California just of Interstate 10? It is sorta close to where my parents live and would be convenient to stay there. It appears you don't have to be a CRA member to stay there.

I am a CRA member and it's my understanding that you have to be a CRA member to stay there. If you have another membership such as Coast to Coast then you can stay there. It's just a few rows of spots and fairly close to Palm Springs. It is a nice clean campground. I stayed there a couple of years ago and stayed in one of their cabins.

I have not stayed there, but Iwas going to as a free trial membership. I was warned by a friend who had stayed there to not. It is right next to the 10 freeway which is a major freeway and heavily traveled. He said they heard the freeway noise all night long and did not get any sleep. If yougo a few more miles up the road to Yucaipa (west of Cherry Valley Lakes) you can stay at the Yucaipa Regional Park which is a really nice Camp Ground and not to far from Banning.

which CRA (computing research association ) or (cigar rights association) or any of the others? I hate acronyms
Colorado River Adventures. I'm a member as well, but I've never stayed there.

KFeimer, the free trial your referring too, did they make you go through a sales pitch?

Bob, if you go to a sales pitch and you buy a CRA membership, make sure their promises are in righting.

I joined at Emerald Cove on the Parker Strip (Colorado River) and was promised a lot of things to include proof of the promises. They ignored them when I wanted my daughter to stay in a cottage of her own and refused to honer them. To make a long story short, I was only one of a few that threatened to sue them and got my money back for those upgrades, but it took a letter from my attorney. ;)

Does not look like a good idea to stay at Cherry Lakes. Good Idea about Yucaipa did nto think of that Duh!!! Thanks.

Not a bad place if you want to hear cars trucks all nite long real close to freeway. There is a rest stop right there also lots of lot lizards at nite.

Was through there a week ago and that rest stop appears to be either under major renovation or being removed. Still not help the freeway noise though.
