very interested in this. Is it just a matter of bolting on the new tie rods, etc or is there a need for new steering knuckles, steering box etc??

J-

nope oem knuckles and I replaced my box with a borgenson because I needed to. other than that those part numbers are part numbers for the 98-99 HD version specifically.

copy thanks, looks like a pretty cheap and easy upgrade?

I bolted the 99 t-steering into my 94 which has the 2001 aluminum 16" wheels. Extreemely happy with it. Have not found an after market damper to fit just yet that will take the place of the lack of attachment hole in the linkage of the original parts. My right wheel just touches the tie rod and rubs on a hard left turn in the parking lot. I have driven it in a circle a time or two to see if it is scraping off any metal but only lightly rubs.

When doing this I noticed the part numbers are the same for all models through 99. the only concern I know of is some wheels might rub.
