I'm not familiar with the 3rd gen trucks. A friend just got a 2003 3500 auto. Last night she had trouble with limp mode & threw these codes: P 2509, P 0483, P 2122 & P 2121. Today the limp is gone, the truck seems to run fine but the CEL is still on. Any insight would be appreciated.

The 2121 / 2122 are both pedal position sensor codes. The 0483 is cooling fan speed, which is probably not related.

The 2509 = ECM/PCM power input signal intermittent, this is most likely the culprit, the PCM(powertrain control module) is on the firewall behind the passenger side battery. Make sure all it's connections are clean and tight. there have been a few 03/04 trucks that needed the PCM replaced, but I would try the easy/cheap first.

It may also be causing the pedal position sensor codes... . any Autozone, or person with a Smarty can clear the CEL and codes, see what happens.

I believe in 04. 5/06 chrysler intregated the PCM into the ECM as 1 unit, but not sure.
