That's what happens. Ya can't just go look. Congrats!
Reasons why I need to avoid the dealerships at all cost.
You won't be sorry. I've had mine for 4 months now and I still can't stop smiling. I also see that you got one with the proper number of wheels! Congratulations!
FWIW, EVERY salesman/woman at that friggin' dealership asked me at one point or another if I was trading in the 06 model, asked how many miles it had, if I was going to sell it...etc..
So, I am assuming you are keeping the '06. Did they make you an offer on it?
Yes they are factory wheels. I was surprised to see Alcoa Emblems on them. Every dually they had on the lot had those wheels except for some work trucks that had chrome plated steel.Fancy! Are those factory wheels (I see they have Dodge the Ram Caps)? I'd like to find some later model wheels for my 2nd gen before I buy tires, those look great.
Just a plain old Western Brown.Wingate
What's the color description? Looks chocolate....for a dark color I certainly do like it, however after my charcoal/granite 03, I believe only lighter colors are in my future. Congrats on the new rig, enjoy!

The 3rd gen trucks were NOTORIOUS for the doors in the HVAC system breaking off and causing loss of ac/heat. After being repaired several times under warranty and failing again out of warranty, I found HeaterTreater aluminum doors for a fraction of dealership repair costs and installed the one that was broke at the time. Still have the other two sitting in my shop waiting on the factory stuff to fail.Nice looking truck!
On a different note, what is a heater treater HVAC that is in your sig?
yes, keeping the 06, most of them wanted me to trade it in... but two different salesmen approached me and asked if I would sell it to them personally. I told them sure, 35K oughta cover it!
There is a guy in the town I live in that has given me his phone # and offered to give 32K cash for it like it sits.
If the 14 model lives up to the 06 model, I will probably take him up on his offer..... but not until the 14 model proves to be as tough as the 06.

I hope they are easy to clean!
