New running boards/steps

Another upgrade done. I wanted to do this to make it easier for wife to get in and out of the truck on our trip to AK. As she will be riding in it all the time. Nice set of running boards/step for $200. They seem pretty sturdy also. I also liked the style of these also. Sorry for the dirty truck.

You don't want to see the work 3500 or my 1500. They literally have 3 inches of salt enriched sand on the running boards.

As I move my eyes up on both those trucks, the coating of sand and salt on the body is impressive. They need a washing, that's for sure.

Been super busy and like no time to wash my own truck.

Nothing wrong with some dirt on a truck. It shows that it's not just sitting!

That's a nice looking set of steps/ boards! I'm sure the DW is happy with them.

You need to get a set of black aluminum splash guards to go in front of them. They'll help keep a lot off the side of the truck!

This is like how it is in upstate NY. Pot holes, road/bridge joints, rail road tracks, heaved manhole covers, etc. You need a truck to handle these roads.

My last smaller SUV (Jeep Compass) was going through suspension components ever 20-30k. It would always get creaky creaky or the steering would be so loose it would extremely difficult to drive. Surprised I never got pulled over and had a DWI check on me how bad that would get once everything got worn out. I could never imagine owning that if I couldn't wrench.
