2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Replacing heater core

98 12V, leaking fuel, looks to be from the return line that comes from the back of the injection pump, I can see where it split and is spraying fuel out. Can I just replace the hose section of the line?
 
Yes you can. It's not long. Goes to the hard line that comes up next to the bell housing and near the firewall. If I remember right I had to connect that portion from underneath the truck
 
This job is my least favorite of anything I have done to the truck over the last 19 years. You are going to be working along the bellhousing and struggling with the hose clamps and the hoses. The design looks as if the factory mounted the engine/trans, connected the fuel lines and then dropped the cab on the frame with no though to how to service these items. Good luck.
