Has anyone ran 35x12.50-17 General grabber red letter. Want to put them on 07 2500 with 2inch leveling kit on stock wheels will they rub and how do you like them. Thanks

Also interested to know. From my understanding with stock wheels they will likely rub on the trailing arms at full lock

I've got some of my 01 with stock 06 rims. Great preforming tire but I am getting crappy wear. I may get 25K out of them. Under same driving conditions, I have been able to get 30-42K out of BFGs and Dick Cepek. So I'm a little disappointed with the wear. I'm gonna try some toyos next.

Same thing I have been seeing.I love my Toyos,They are a very tough tire.I don't track mileage cause hi speed off roading with a high torque engine isn't a fair test

On a stock rim they will probably rub on the control arms at full lock, not bad just a scuff. If you don't go full lock much it won't be an issue. Any tire can perform differently, depends on the rubber formulation of the specific tire. No way to tell until you run them.

Take the BFG's, they may wear well but they are a crap tire for structural integrity and suitability on these trucks. The Dick Cepeks are noisy and annoying but wear pretty decently. The Toyos are by far the best and Nitto 2nd. The problem now is the 17" are not rated for the loads the truck can carry and the rubber formulation has changed several times. Wear is a big question mark.

I get excellent mileage out of the Interco Vortrac at that size. It's an all terrain, quiet, and E-rated 3640 lbs @ 65 psig. 35-12.50X17
My buddy kids me because they have tread on the sidewall.

I love the look of the Generals, but they were pricey and I heard all the same things about fast wear. My ProComp MT2 are claimed to have a 40k treadwear warranty. If I had it to do again, it would be Toyo MT or Pitbull Rocker radial. I just don't rack up enough miles to worry about treadwear. Dry rot maybe...
