Thanks! I dont have a 'Shmart' phone :-laf

Ahhhh, you want to know my exhaust story? ;) Weird science they call it....

I need to call it a day. Be happy to do so prob tomorrow or soon. G'nite!

ps. maybe i should also tell my skunk story...

I use the FF 5320. IIRC FF5814 is the better one with strata pore media. I'll be looking for that once my stock is depleted.

The FF5320 is the older 5um at 98.7% version and the FF5814 is the newer NanoNet that is 4um at 99.9% (I have also read 3um at 98.7%).

Wow it looks GREAT! Got a friend with an automatic like yours. Now I can show him another approach. Please do tell about your muffler antics. What did you think of the sprint car spiral flow job? Posting pics is easy here especially with a smartphone. Just click on the little photo frame near the smiley.

I bought the FTE resonator because when i replaced my rusted out oem muff with the Flo-Pro straight through muff, i got just enough drone to drive me crazy! The res took care of drone, but i needed the 30'' model. The 17'' FTE res didnt get enough drone to restore my smile! With the Flo-Pro and the FTE my noise level is very reasonable...[well, im the only one that drives the truck... concrete barriers are my sounding board :) ]At idle i have a throatier sound then stock, at WOT... well, i guess you will have to ask my neighbors! Def more then stock but not close to straight pipe. Im well pleased.
Im curious to see when i change my TC if some vib noises disappear .... I was questioning my FTE but i think it's my TC.
Stock TCs are just plain frustrating especially when grossing at 24k....

I could also chat about my Tater turbo!

And my Smarty Touch!
:)

What is OEM in-tank pumps psi? What should i see when my gauge come in?
I have thought about adding a NF1212 along the frame rail. Would this be to much restriction for this LP?

I have a fuel leak when i compleatly full my tank, today i watched with my flash light. Fuel bubbles out trough the top of the canister right under the oem suction line connects to the fitting at the top of tank. Need to replace canister? Vib stress?
Thanks fellows!

Sounds like the tank needs to come down. If fuel is coming out, junk is getting in! FYI the newest Macks in our fleet have a filter on the vent line. They're even filtering the air going into the tank to vent.
The PSI is a tricky question. Depends on what the LP delivers and what is allowed to return. For me it waves between 6-9 at idle.

What about WOT? ... Just lean out the window and get a # for me, will you? :-laf
You just have the aux filter after the oem, correct?

With 3 filters (2 aux) on my OEM In-Tank pump I run 9-10 at idle, 7-8 cruise, and 5.5-7 WOT depending on rpm. That's on a ~400-410 rwhp tune.

That will depend on the health of the LP. I have a 5 um in stock housing and 3 um in front of the CP-3. I can pull it down under 5 on SW3 and so close 0 on SW5 it doesn't matter. I have lost 50-60 HP on the big end over what the truck dynoed with at about 50k. You will just have to try it and see what you have for pressure at the CP-3. According to testing you need a minimum of 3 psi at the CP-3 inlet to maintain full flow, lube and rail, thru the CP-3.

Long ago I ran the BD low pressure light, and with the original LP and before the added filter, the light would flicker on hi demand in winter. I don't know what the trip was on that switch.

IIRC that was 2 to 5 psi. That begin said, they were for VP44 equipped trucks where fuel starvation caused from a worn $50 lift pump would eventually kill a $3000 injection pump.

Thanks! I should be getting my gauge next week, so ill see what i have. I'll be running a line in the cab so i have 'live' psi!
I have a fuel leak through the top of my canister, bubbles out when fuel tank is full, possibly a crack under the suction hose connetor.... if this take a new canister/pump,... is there a prefered brand? I have a link for Rock Auto, i think that was on this thread, i also know that GENOs sell them now. If one had more flow/psi......

Bosch told me the CP3 in our trucks is designed for -5 to +15 psi, but I think years of use has told us that 3-12 is the best range to maintain.

Here's want happens over time/miles running 18PSI+

I advise against running a direct fuel line into the cab. I reccomend an electric gauge or an isolator or putting a cup on the hood a-la '70's street rod.

LOL...my thread has taken on a life of it's own.....and presented me with a wealth of information at the same time.
Installed a Baldwin PF7977 in the OEM canister, and lovin' it.
Keep on truckin'
