Exhaust brake / cruse control

A few days ago my exhaust brake and tow haul quit working, the next day I tried it and it worked and has worked since then. Today my cruse control stopped working and has not started working again. I'm on a 6k mile cross country trip pulling a 10K 5th wheel, I need these things to work. Can somebody give me a clue as to what's going on. Please help I have checked fuses, they all look good.

My cruise control stopped working on me on my 2014 , it required a flash or something like that. Like you I was on a trip towing the fifth wheel, the icon would come on when turning on the cruise, but would not turn green ,and set the speed when pushing the set button.

Called ahead to a dealer got me in when I reached the town, took 30 minutes to diagnose ,and whatever reset they did. No problems since.

Got hooked up this morning and put over 450 miles on I80 thru So. Dakota, Wyoming. Must be magic, everything works. I hope it all keeps working, we have about another month on the road.

Crazy stuff is right. A person sure can lose a secure feeling and faith in what he is driving real quick.

Next time the Tow/Haul and engine Break does not turn on try hitting the Door Lock button. It seems sometimes the computer forgets to turn things on and hitting the door lock button reminds it to do so. The joy of a Microsoft based operating system....

I'm just above you in Great Falls, MT heading to Missoula and then Emmett, ID before reloading for New England. We may cross paths.

Sometimes when I pull over and let the truck idle for a few minutes and then resume travel the exhaust brake won't work even though the light is on. Sometimes it comes back on within a couple of miles, sometimes not. In which case I have to stop and shut down the truck and restart quickly so as to not damage the turbo. I don't use tow/haul much so I don't know if that is out or not. Next time I will try the door locks to wake up the computer.

Your right, I90 thru so Dakota, headed south in Wyoming to I80 all the way into Salt lake. Leaving Salt Lake in a few days headed for Grand Junction and Glenwood Springs Co. So far all electronics are working.
