No I didn’t. I also didn’t miss “I could search out a water pump and maybe Genos would be competitive but I could probably find one with free shipping”. Stop talking and do. Show me the latest revision Cummins sourced water pump at Genos price with free shipping. Nobody I’ve seen sells original Cummins branded parts for less than Genos.

Well there you go, now we know,no sense in looking. If I need a water pump I will go to Geno's . Thanks

I can end this right now.

Attention all TDR Members...

Hear ye hear ye! On this day, let it be known.....Cummins2014 cannot justify paying Geno's prices for fuel filters!

(please disseminate this message for those out of earshot of the town-square soapbox)

Also, please see previous announcement that Cummins2014 cannot justify the cost of synthetic oil.

And he's back. What about the water pump

I guess that puts the water pump question to bed, there seems to be others that are competitive in price. Thanks.

Kthaxton, "what say you" Should we now move on from the filters ,and water pump.

You picked out the pump from my my numerous examples. Now we know there is at least one competitive vendor. And without any effort on your part. Lucky you.

Maybe, maybe not. You seem big on claims without the responsibility of following up. You counting on Nick to bail you out next time?

Big on claims

"NOBODY" I've seen sells original Cummins branded parts for "LESS" than Genos. Your words. Thats a bold statement, we know the rest.

Nobody I’d seen had. Yes that seller was a whopping $1.94 cheaper. Found thanks to Nick, not you. What happened to that Free Shipping you claimed you’d probably find. It’s pretty obvious you couldn’t find what you said you would.
And no I’m sure this won’t be the last word. But I’m not fond of folks who make claims and then walk away without backing up their statements.

You made a statement that was wrong, get over it.

I said “ nobody I’ve seen”. 100% correct at the time it was written. Now I’ve been shown someone sells the pump cheaper, although we don’t know what they charge for shipping. We do know it’s not free. Speaking of free shipping, where’s that pump at a competitive price with free shipping you were talking about. Or have you conveniently forgotten that statement? Once again nothing to back up your claim.

I know what a mistake , you win. Now can we move on ,now that you've heard what you wanted to hear !!!

when you have a 50 or 60 thousand dollar truck, arguing about a one dollar and change difference difference seems petty.
FWIW I'd rather pet the sweaty things than sweat the petty things

Question for anyone with advice and especially for those experiencing the same issue with their 2013.

I realize that the 2013's have a programming issue with the fuel filter counter and mine has not been fixed by the many flashes it has had.

As you can see my fuel filter counter/minder will likely be at 0% near 12,000 miles. I have always changed fuel filters before reaching 0%.

The fuel filters are supposed to be good for 15,000 miles. I was thinking of just changing the rear filter when the minder goes to zero and waiting until the full 15k for the front filter. But then again, it is convenient to change them at the same time and not have them changed at different mile intervals.

Will I have an issue with warranty if I go the full 15k (a few thousand miles past the minder)? My oil filter counter doesn't have this programming issue.
