Maybe I’m wrong, but in the pic that shows the coil and shock there’s an arc shape on the radius arm rubbed thru the dust/dirt to clean paint. Could be coincidence, maybe your hand rubbed that shape onto it, but that’s the same place that mine rubs.

Yes, that was done when we were trying hard to get it to rub (full lock over curbs and parking blocks). Normal street driving does not rub.

Final pics of my truck, before and after. My mirrors and handles are paint matched instead of matte plastic, looks pretty nice. Basically what it should have looked like off the lot if I would have been able to buy one with a sport package.

After running the Toyo M/Ts for 20 years on my trucks, these R/Ts feel like a Cadillac, I can't hear them. The M/Ts wear very well, so I imagine the R/Ts will wear even better.

It also looks like you took the plastic inserts off the factory wheels too. What kind of a process was that? Did you have to repaint the wheels after doing so?

Yes I did remove them, and everyone who's seen it loves the way it looks. I'm being told I started a trend now :) There are some bolt holes and a little divot that are exposed after you remove the inserts, but it looks fine to me. If it really bothered you, the holes could be filled with some tech looking alan heads but I don't think it's necessary. I took off the inserts, powder coated gloss black, and never installed the inserts again. I had it next to another sport truck with factory black stock wheels/inserts and the guy was bummed...he said mine looked so much better. The guys at CJC agreed as well, they said it was the first time they had seen it. It's not only the removal of the inserts, but the gloss that gives the stock wheel a better look. The factory wheels are a satin finish and they always look like they have a thin layer of brake dust on them. Gloss is boss when it comes to black wheels.

I finally got my truck done. Here's the details and photos for future reference in case anyone else is looking for the same information I was:

Year: 2016
Lift: Carli 2.5" leveling kit with track bar
Wheels: Factory 20" wheels
Tires: 315/60R20 Toyo RTs

There is no rubbing at full lock and the tires do not stick out beyond the fender flares. These tires are quiet and smooth (I've always run the Toyo MTs)
The front bumper was raised 5 1/4", and the badge near the front wheel well was raised 3". I'm sure it will settle a bit. The truck rides very nice. I can't stand the chrome so I'm going to black it next week and I'll be done. I'll be getting rid of my brand new headlights, tail lights, and factory 18" wheels/tires in case anyone is interested. This truck only has 5K miles on it at the moment because I prefer driving the old '01.

Devil Black,
Did you black out your bumpers? I'm looking to replace my factory chrome with either factory black or OEM replacements on my 2017 2500. I'm trying to find the Mopar number but can't seem to find it for fog lights without front park sense. Just curious what you did.

Rock Auto has aftermarket paintable / primed bumpers for sale with fog lights but without park sense. You might have to change the model year and search for a 2013 or 2014 model though. I’d verify with a phone call.
