It's definitely not dexron. The color and smell is very different. But, apparently it's been used by a few members on here.
The color and smell of what you drained, or what you added. What I drained sure looked and smelled like every other atf.

x2.............since i used the mopar fluid i had a new sample to compare to. I remember the bw fluid having a very distinct pungent smell compared to the dexron i had on the shelf.
Just an unofficial observation i made, not that it means a thing.
additionally......the 68089195aa fluid truly does not smell like any kind of atf i have ever used before.
I found this interesting and did a very unofficial comparison between the BW fluid and some Dexron I have on the shelf. They are visually similar in appearance - visc, feel, etc. The BW fluid however has a much stronger smell to it, not that that means a thing but I was a little surprised how pungent the BW smells compared to the Dexron.
Thought I’d live on the edge and just this weekend I drained and filled my transfer case at 74k miles. Dexron VI now resides inside my Borg Warner transfer case....The AMZ/OIL Universal ATF is good in transfer case and both auto transmissions.
I recently changed the fluid in my BW transfer case on a 2014 RAM Diesel 3500. I found that Amsoil Multi Vehicle ATF Signature Series replaces a large number of ATFs, including Mopar 68089195AA. It states this on the back of the bottle. It was $11.50 per qt at the local NAPA Store.
