Yeah, I think that’s what I’ll end up with. A spray-in liner and a heavy mat with holes cut in it.

Overkill, I know. But if it’s worth doing, it’s worth overdoing. :D

One of My Subs cut holes ( 5 ) for the GN Prep in the rug and put the plastic covers over the rug looks like factory or cut the holes and place the bed MAT over the bed rug.

I made my own bed mat because I load bundles of Shingles often and the Rug did NOT allow Us to slide the Bundles. I Have GN Prep Beds.

A little tint.

I've been using it and it looks like crap with just the paint
.

You mean like this? :D

Definitely waited too long on the bedliner, once I got some.good dings and scratches in it I quit being careful...in case you can't tell o_O
I also had along the bottom and around the wheel wells sprayed as I was getting tiny stone chips in the paint....even with the HD mud flaps. One thing for sure is the paint and panels on my 14 isn't as good as my 98.

The line x made the bed a little too slick for my liking so I cut up an old bed mat out of my 98. It was a long bed and my 14 isn't so I had enough material to do the gate. Not exactly show worthy but definitely functional.

Hope you enjoy life in the shade!

I kinda need the tint. I have a skin condition that’s not all that fun.

It’s called vitiligo. Essentially it means parts of my skin loses its pigment. It slowly spreads and there’s no real cure for it. The areas that are white burn really easy while the rest of me tans super easy.

It’s not terrible, but it’s not super fun either. I get lots of looks. Vitiligo isn’t contagious or even dangerous, but it makes you super self conscious. I don’t need skin cancer any time soon.

I wouldn’t wish this on anyone....

Oh man. Well, that sure is reason enough to get some tint!

Job complete. :)

You can see how I really think the chrome/polished stainless steel really compliments this truck. A set of DuraFlap mud flaps were also in order.

All I need now is a few barley pops and maybe a dip in the neighbors pool! :D

I’d like to get the bed lined and the windows tinted. I think I’d be pretty close to being done at that point.

Have I mentioned how much I really like this truck? ;)

They say a picture is worth a thousand words... I would say the steps look simply GREAT!
I saw the tint job pictures and once again it looks GREAT too!!
You have a beautiful truck there, ENJOY!

I went with color matched Line X spray in bed liner. The Line X was extremely slick when it was wet when new because of the color matching made it like a "gloss finish", but once it started to fade a little the slickness was gone and it's fully functional. I actually considered have the Gloss Color match redone because it matched the paint so beautifully, BUT was hazardous when wet. I decided against it.
It's fully functional now and not hazardous when wet.

I'm having a very difficult time finding a set of good nerf bars for my 2018 crew cab long bed dually. It's silver in color and has some chrome on it. I really like the factory chrome nerf bars I had on my 2017 2500, but the dealers can't seem to get them or want about double what they should be. I looked after market and it seems crew cab long bed dually isn't a big market for old school chrome nerf bars.

I'd really like to get a set of stainless steel quality nerf bars with good brackets. Even better if the steps allowed access to the front of the bed.

Anyone know who makes the OEM ones?

Any good alternatives?
https://www.icionline.com/DODGE-RAM3500-2018-parts IMHO has quality Nerf Bars at a good price...been using them for many years. They don't offer SS mounting brackets. When I get a set for new truck, I'll take the mild steel brackets to a metal shop & have them cutout some SS sheet.

Wow. Those look virtually identical to what I purchased and installed. Roughly the same price too. They never came up in my searches.
