Congrats on the truck!

I've been very happy with my '18 and the AISIN/Auto-Level.

Truck has a rare color combination with white on the exterior and a black interior.

Any pics of what makes it rare? Is it more than just the black leather?

After 4 years and almost 60K, I only use TH when towing or on off ramps or big down hills when not towing. I prefer the lower RPM's and earlier shifts when not towing. SnoKing

Me too.

It's not so much the color as it is the Tungsten PKG:

"Start truck hit TH, EB" After 4 years and almost 60K, I only use TH when towing or on off ramps or big down hills when not towing. I prefer the lower RPM's and earlier shifts when not towing. SnoKing

I agree, I like to coast some when just tooling around and empty.
I wish they had a 2 Level Tow/Haul Switch similar to the EB. First press is only for upshifts and 2nd press is up/down like it is now.

It's not so much the color as it is the Tungsten PKG:

Yeah, the combo of black leather on white truck with the Tungsten package.

The first post made it sound like the black leather with white paint was rare, but it’s most likely the whole package/color combo.

Yes! That is what I meant. Every other time I have come across a tungsten package I feel like 9 times out of ten the truck is either Delmonico Red or Black crystal pearlcoat or whatever the black is called.

I personally would have preferred the back with the Indigo/Frost combination, but this will for SURE do.

How do you like the system? I know how the system works on the 2500 but I haven't found much info online about the 3500 system and I don't think it goes up and down on itself like the 2500 system.

Both my dad and I have it. It’s a great system.

It does adjust just like the 2500, but won’t go into ALT ride height as easily.

I’ve had mine at, and slightly above, the RAWR and it preforms flawlessly.

Use ALT whenever you have 1K, or more, in the bed and it will improve the ride and handling of the load.

Ride is great and the truck in alt (where I leave mine all the time) sets the rear much lower than the standard sprung truck.

Same ride height solo or with rear loaded to RAWR of 9,750#.

That’s awesome. I think this weekend I’m gonna hook up the camper just for fun to test out the air level even though I’m not going anywhere. Hahaha.

I didn’t get a manual with the truck.. not happy about that.. someone told me that they are all online now? Can anyone confirm and maybe provide a link to where I could get one?

Thanks!

Truck only has 15k miles and she's loaded. From I/P mounted Aux switches to auto level air suspension. Probably going to change fuel filters as soon as I get the truck just be sure and dealer said they're changing lube oil for me.

Thanks in advance![/QUOTE]
Truck looks sweet.......and most importantly, the auto level rear air suspension will be certain to make @Cummins12V98 sooooooo pleased!

If the truck has 15k miles on it.....see if you can persuade the dealer to toss in the fuel filters.....either installed or carry out.

CONGRATS on the new truck!!! Sweet looking CTD!
You mentioned you are flying down to pick it up and mentioned it is 300+/- mile trek back to home.

I am with GSBrockman on this one, see if you can get the dealer to throw in the fuel filters, also. Since they are doing a LOF to begin with, see if you can get both front and back fuel filters service thrown in also or at a DISCOUNTED price. If they won't throw in the fuel filter service, see if you can get at least the filters to carry out. You don't have any idea of the fueling history of the truck or how it was treated, at least with a filter service/change out you will have a known starting point.

Again, a BEAUTIFUL CTD, DRIVE AND ENJOY!

Appears I was a little late on the fuel filter comments, not realizing the timing of the original post.
But Again, a BEAUTIFUL CTD, DRIVE AND ENJOY!

Get to the fuel filters when you reasonably can, change them both out and call it good. Then you have the starting point.
