I can't believe it we woke up today and it was 26 degrees and I've had the tires set at 55 PSI the other day and they went down 7 PSI here's a picture guys it's 30 degrees right now.

Not sure why you’re so perplexed.......tire inflation readings can easily swing upwards or downwards 1 to 2 psi for every ten degrees F in temperature change....

I have a little issue guys a red alert red alert red alert it's going to be 20 degrees tonight here in Danville Virginia and the RV is not winterized however it will be like 45 tomorrow you know tomorrow morning sometime but the it's going to be pretty cold now I believe I may be able to bring the RV to a place 40 miles away and leave it with the heat on and everything you know connected to the power and everything leave the heat on will that prevent it from freezing up all right I don't know about the stuff guys I need your help thanks I was going south within a couple of days but to Florida but still have to get a couple of teeth taken out and don't feel like driving 250 miles after I get two teeth taken out all right.

Jayco lists the RV as having "Climate Shield™ : Enclosed, insulated, heated underbelly; Hight-BTU output furnace (40,000-BTU); Astro-Foil™ in roof and floors"

Leave the heat at 45° or higher and don't lose any sleep over it.

I forgot to say it's just sitting on our property right now it's not plugged in or water turned on or anything like that it's just sitting on our property so we're going to either have to take it somewhere where we can plug it into the 50 amp power or head south to Florida immediately?????

Doesn't it have batteries?

You shouldn't have to be plugged in to use the heater. You also could be plugged in with a 30A adapter, as 50A is only needed for running more than 1 AC units in most 50A RV's.

You only need enough power to run the converter at some point. The furnace will run off LP and 12V on the coach for quite a while with the thermostat turned down.

As mentioned above, plug into your household electricity to keep the batteries charged and use your propane and coach 12VDC heater system?

I believe it's about 50° right now however tonight it will be 20 tomorrow to go back up to 40 and then tomorrow night it's going to be about 20 degrees also so that's the part that concerns me yes I can bring it about 40 miles from my house and I can hook it up to the 50 amp power and everything I'm sure we'll be fine after that however the water hookup from the hose you know coming from the the RV utilities you know at the campground I thought that might freeze but I don't think that would freeze overnight if it gets back up to 40 degrees you know the water hose to the city water connection on the RV.

Use the water tanks for your water needs, or connect the water hose only when topping off your tanks, or hook up only when you are using water, or purchase a heated water hose. Lots of solutions available

One night at 20, thats probably the low of 20, if it sat in 20 degrees long enough its going to freeze things. If it dips to freezing during the night , and then comes back up you won't have a problem. But if it continues during the day, then yes you need to do something.

Am I the only one that annoyed by how different the angle of the tach needle is compared to the speedo on the 19+ dashes? Just looks so weird to me.

I don't like it either. A quick glance with rpms at 2K would like like it's above redline.

I assume you have a RV refrigerator, keep it running on propane it uses a minute amount of power. The furnace will use some power from the batteries. Biggest concern do you have enough battery capacity to keep frig and furnace going for two days plus your other lighting needs etc? Plug truck to RV each day with truck on high idle for a hour or two. Then with truck disconnected check battery voltage.

I brought it to a KOA campground in Greensboro North Carolina today and it's plugged into the 50 amp and I've got the temperature 155 degrees so hopefully that would be sufficient to keep anything from freezing for the next 48 hours so well no big deal but yeah I've got the water connected everything is looks good and I've got the thermostat set to 55 degrees with it connected to the the power and to the water.

I also have the hot weeder water heater on so I'm sure everything will be okay even though it does have a heated underbelly which I forgot who somebody posted it to me to look at but yeah it seems to have a heated underbelly that's good.

Why have it connected to water? Is the hose heated?

It has a water tank, use it when it’s below freezing out. It doesn’t take much time at all below 32° for hoses to start freezing.
