Hey Ron, I’m so sad to hear of the engine issue.
You know that’s a SB Mopar weakpoint- only 4 head bolts per cylinder...

Plus if previous owner(s) failed to maintain cooling system...

So what are the symptoms.

It started running a little hotter, so drained, flushed with prestone, replaced thermostat, put in new coolant. Drove it a few more weeks, then cooling system started building a lot of pressure. I was going to perform compression testing, but just couldn't muster it, lower back really bothering me. Repair shop mentioned that would be first test to perform to assess engine condition. Went to Costco today, so dropped by... the door was locked, so didnt bother to leave a note or call... I'll drop by Thursday if they don't call first.

On a serious note, if the LRE had much more power, its be hard to keep on the road... HP motor still very strong.

On another note, looks like the LRE has a blown HG... I believe it's had it the whole time, just getting progressively worse.
