Well, Ron. Did you really check the timing chain? If you’re really gonna check the chain, you could always slam in a bump stick. Hmmm. That radiator really should come out for a good cleaning, right? After all you did loose a head gasket.
You know, they make a repro of the ‘68 340 cam. You know the GOOD one, right? ;)

Wayne, I have them checking the timing chain and I had removed the radiator and cleaned it
Except for the blown HG adding temp and pressure, she's a cool rig.

Thanks, Ron

Ron, From all I read what is the current status of your lil Red Express truck, something about cleaning radiator, that maybe bad choice. Sometimes when cleaned end up with more leaks, only time will tell. You don't need a new cam period.

Sorry - couldn't resist!

When I restored my GTX I put back in a factory spec cam. 7 years or so later I pulled the engine due to the pan gasket leaking, touched up the engine compartment, and put back in the street hemi cam.

It's your truck - do what you want. But we will need more pictures !

Ron, Still don't need new cam you are heading down the rat trap, stop pouring more into the you need this or that engage yourself here, think this through!
