For those of you who dont know, Project Farm runs a youtube channel that posts ONLY well thought out, well implemented, objectively tested and perhaps most importantly, COMPLETELY UNSPONSORED reviews of tools, tool implements, various adhesives, batteries and MANY other items commonly used on a farm or in a shop.

The tests he designs and runs are practical, fairly elegant and certainly engaging...
Its kind of like your high school science teacher got his or her own TV channel and decided to post a bunch of cool but practical experiments that are also fun to watch.

ALL of his videos (I have watched at least 50 of them over the last 6 months ) are excellent and concise as can be, and any one of them will likely help anyone, even a professional, make a better decision next time they need to choose and use whatever product type that he is testing.

Just to start out, here is his test on various grades of Ethanol versus non ethanol gas , both with and without stabilizer added, and their effects on carbureator corrosion and aging.

Please note that this particular video is one of his most visually BORING tests, but still insightful )... For far more interesting testing protocols, check out one of his adhesive testing videos!!!

ALSO, this thread is not just for me to simply post my favorite Project Farm test videos, but to encourage you guys to look at more of his channel and then post a link to the tests that YOU find useful and interesting!!!

Thanks for very interesting review.;)

Thanks for very interesting review.;)

You should definitely check out more review videos on his channel by first clicking on "Youtube" which appears at the lower right corner of the video that I posted once you start playing it (you can also click the "watch on youtube link" that briefly appears as you start the video) and then once watching it on youtube, click the "Project Farm" name just underneath the video screen. Once you click on that, you will see a thumbnail and title for all his MANY reviews.

A great test comaprison of Bolt and Screw extractor kits--

I watch a ton of his reviews everything finding from testing some reconditioning compression in diesel engine to what's the best vacuum cleaner, sure great place to learn!;):p

OK Seafish - I hate you!!!

Do you realize how much time I've "wasted" looking at these videos when I'm supposed to be working on my garage?!?!

In other words - thanks for the info. Saw his video on oscillating blades - good timing since I just bought that tool.

JUST released...Project Farm tests and compares Cordless Grease guns...

Sad to say that it looks like the Milwaulkee bests my Dewalt in both pressure and volume--

I have the Milwaukee grease gun used this for lube the boat and the trailer, one boat trailer is oil hubs the other is grease, i prefer the grease hubs.:D

I picked up the DeWalt during Tractor Supply's Black Friday sale for $179 (with 1 battery & charger). Have only used it to grease my mower deck so far but it seems ok and is far better than squeezing that darn handle!

For many years I have bought AGM batteries for Ram trucks after viewing the results next setts will be Lead Acid batteries, thanks Project Farms!:)

I still like AGM batts since they don’t leak like lead acid. But.... like the results of lead acid

Wondering about life expectancy.

That question depends where you live like Hot climbs are hard on batteries lead acid last about three years on the average. Now cold climb is another consideration seating outside in below zero weather, hmm. I personal don't live in either one so '14 Ram is on third set, and I am looking at replacement for this truck, I will be towing a 28' Radon with four outboards.;) In the boat will have for Odyssey one for each outboard, one for generator and two for the cabin.:confused:Since the location won't be in the sun or real cold weather.:D
