My daughter loves GMC trucks so I told her stick with those. You get a Allison even with a 2500 diesel, unlike RAM have to order the 1000Ft tq motor to get AISIN now. Plus, they are not running the CP4. Plus both ways. I Love the AISIN and will not go back to the 68RFE.

You know it’s not an Allison anymore, right? Just a name on a all new GM trans.

Friends,

FWIW, if I was in need of a truck, I think I would low ball offer to buy the 5 or 6 chronic complainers who owns 19+ MY Ram Cummins truck and put the lucky taker out of thier misery. I simply can't imagine owning anything I didn't like or was skeered of.

I wish all of you haters the best in of luck getting rid of your trucks and joining a forum where you can hate your next BIG mistake.

CHEERS, Ron
I'm hopeful that FCA does the right thing. I just don't care for the idea that I will have to foot the bill as I have read in other posts.(metal partials in the fuel system its your baby) Maybe if mine goes out, they will soak the extended warranty company for the fuel system as it states it covers fuel injection pumps, fuel lines etc. As for buying my complainer truck, not gonna happen. I'll go after market if need be. The aftermarket has been setting the tone for the manufacturers for years. I just don't care to pay for a 70K truck with a pre-existing condition...Now that I think about it, maybe Biden won't be so bad after all !!! LMAO

So it's been about 5 weeks since you saw the glitter on the fuel filter. Did the fuel pump eat itself?

Not sure about the OP but my 19 still has me sooooo frightened........so frightened that I keep hooking it up to my sled trailer and going miles from town in minus 0 temps to go riding with my friends.........I just know its going to grenade and I'll end up freezing to death........so frightened!

"Snoking", what does an MBA have to do with SIX-SIGMA program. Six-Sigma is a quality measurement were the corporation is working on quality improvements to the end user!

MBA brought those kind of things to corporations. I saw it in person.

Maybe were you worked, but CAT was doing the Six-Sigma thing way before it was called SIX-SIGMA! I can go back to the late 60's and 70's and find the statistical analysis I had to do during the failure analysis portion which we were required to do. We had to document the failure and the trend line plus how the failure was redesigned to prevent the failure from occurring again. We had to test samples of this redesign in the lab and field before releasing this design back into production. Which is all part of SIX-SIGMA doctrine of today.

Nope...Still running like top. I'm guessing it came from whatever may have sluffed off from the manufacturing processes or perhaps a pump from the station. I'm not concerned... Truck is running great, Just turned 14k. Getting ready to pull the trigger on a camper trailer since Covid is screwing up our family vacations.

Aside from the CP4 issue, the new truck is a awesome machine. Every customers RV I move, it never ceases to amaze me it how easy it makes the job happen.Effortless power, exhaust braking ability etc.
