I like the idea of a drive-by on the headquarters but my 19 surely wouldn't make it!!!! As a matter of fact, I'm sooooo scared about this problem that I'm going to tow a large trailer from Alaska to Arkansas next winter.
Only if that yahoo that runs Canada opens the border. Word has it that the border will be closed thru the summer and possibly longer.

On the RAM HD board, "RAMCARES" said by the end of the 3rd quarter they were going to announce a fix for the CP4 vehicles....Drum roll. Speculation is from AtoZ.... Hopefully good news.

Unfortunately the mod locked that thread down so no more updates from ramcares through there....

Take this with a grain of salt but there is someone on another site that has a truck in for a CP4 failure right now and Ram told him they are going to be extending the warranty out to 100K (assume this is the 36k one) and they covered a couple payments while in the shop, but still putting another cp4 in. Extending the warranty has been floated as the "solution" so maybe this is the case.
Also heard that the "discovery" period has been pushed out a few more months so it may push a solution out further as well?

Well, then I would expect them to refund our maxcare policies that we already bought and since I have no payments, they could pay for the rental truck.... Of wait, I think I was dreaming out loud again...:rolleyes:

I fully expect them to do absolutely nothing and deal with it case by case....

This all should help the resale of 2018 models anyways. I'm thinking of selling and will use this as good rationale to get top dollar.

I got a Recall notice in the mail.

I looked it up and this is what is posted.

So maybe we will be getting the time bomb replaced.

4% failure rate. How can we make that sound more scary?
Man...I don't know what to do? My knees have been knocking and teeth chattering for a little over a year now...OK, maybe not. All I get floating in the back of my mind is the song Anticipation by Carly Simon. I guess I'll keep driving and enjoying my 2020 ticking time bomb, thinking These are the Good Old Days. Now IF it breaks...a couple lines from Steppenwolf The Pusher may be prominent in my vocabulary. Otherwise, I'm going to enjoy and keep on making more of "these are the good old days".
Bobby McFerrin and Bob Marley sang it well...Don't Worry, Be Happy! ;):)

The delete crowd ain’t gonna like this recall with the PCM needing to be flashed and the tuners all but disappeared with the EPA crackdown.

Deleted trucks are 99.9% programmed trucks, flash not needed nor wanted. It *may* tune adjustment, likely not as the differences are already there in tunes.
