Not bad at all, especially with 14% idle time.

Question, why bother wasting a gauge with oil pressure since it’s fake?

I’m at 34.2 mph on mine, and low idle time at 8.2%. I just spend a lot of time on back roads, hardly abuse. I’ll have tanks with averages in the high 60’s and I’ll have tanks with averages below 10.

Well it didn't hurt driving to ID and back... lots of time on the interstate at speed.. I don't let it idle much at all its seems compared to my 04, not sure how to get the idle time below 10% as it seems to have been about that since new. Must just be the impact of sitting in traffic.

Idle 98

Drive 273

Total 371

Miles 11,592

So, 42.46 mph

Oh... so average MPG negates the idle time? I thought it was total engine hours,.. so that puts me at 48.2 then.....

FWIW, I think that the remote start may be part of why the idle time is so high, that or it is super sensitive to when 0mph and tracks every single second. We'll see how the engine hours look this summer.

I didn't answer your question... I have the Engine temp and Trans Temp on the scrolling gauges (L&R), for the small ones, I have EXH brake and Boost Press on the Left, Oil press and Trailer brake on the right... Thinking about it maybe I should switch sides on the Exh brake to put it over the trailer brake. I have no reason, always have had a oil press gauge so even fake it seems to make sense, not sure what else I would put there? Compass? Outside Temp?... they are all on the center stack so no need for duplicity... I like how configurable the dash is and truthfully I set it up like that back in June when I headed out to ID and never have looked at what "other" options or layouts I could do.. maybe I will this afternoon.

So, you are saying that if I attach a bypass hose off the oil filter head and dump it back in the oil filler hole, the oil pressure loss will not show any drop on this "fake" gauge? All things being equal, such as oil temp and rpm. Provided the loss is not below the 6 psi minimum.

Correct, as long as there is 6 psi at the switch the gauge will always read the same given the parameters.

Yesterday, with 1000 miles on it now, I hauled 3 loads of cow manure, about 25k loaded and 14k empty, the display said 10.5 mpg, doing the math 10.57 so the display is real close. On this same haul, same loads, my '01 gets 11.5 so I am well satisfied with the mileage.

Back on this dedicated haul this weekend. 12.5k miles on it so getting broke in. Mileage is 12.6 display, 12.3 math. Thats dang good. This is with the heavy dump trailer too, about 15,750 empty. This might even be with a slight winter blend fuel, I don't think it is full #2 until 4-1.

Not interested in the 3.0 Hurricane:D

I had time and a real nice day for a change so changed my oil again and both fuel filters. 14,523 miles and two weeks for a full year. I am not really impressed with the inverted canister on the rear filter. I would not want to be Greg having to change them every 2 months. I still had 40% on the oil but only 4% on the filters. So, I guess at one year and 15k it is going to chime at ya.

While I was fueling up yesterday I noticed a screw in my left rear tire. When I tried to pull it out it started leaking so I went back home and changed it. I was due for a rotation and didn't want the new spare on the rear, so it ended up on the left front. But, the display of the TPM shows the left rear has the issue. What? Is my outfit hacked or is this normal? I will put the flat repair back on today, so I assume that will fix it:confused:

Not impressed with the tire tool storage under the pass. seat. What a pain, they will not go back. I adapted a 12 point socket to the square end of the extension and used my drill to zip the tire down.
