Every now and then the ABS light along with the brake light appear. Not often enough to worry me but often enough to be a nuisance.
Since then I did a lot of work at the front end including changing both hubs all the brakes steering upgrade Carli track bar new universals. Basically everything The only thing I didn't have the money for at the time was the heavy duty steering box so I settled for a box brace for now.
For a while I thought that was it because I didn't see it started happening again recently. Here's what it does.
Sometimes I'll start the truck and you will see these lights come on. Sometimes if I drive over something that rattles the truck the lights come on.
The former doesn't lead me to believe that it's a connector of some kind Because it's not like something would have wiggled something loose while it was parked. The former would make me want to chase a connector because if I go over a bad stretch of road or something and the truck rattles That sounds like a weak connection. I guess one could say that starting the engine causes a bit of vibration that might cause that to happen.
I thought maybe running 35-in tires could cause this problem I thought maybe the speed sensor in the hubs could cause this problem what are some of the likely troubleshooting things that I can try. The fact that it is intermittent has made it a bit more frustrating to track down Thank you.
