There are some questions on if the pipes are Stainless or Aluminumized Steel

There is one review in that link that says the product listing is confusing, the Muffler is Stainless and the tip is polished but the pipes may not be.

The MFG web site was not much help.

Some other vendors list it as an "OR" it's Aluminumized or Stainless

Then they list the color as Aluminumized.

Since your looking for Stainless, you might want to really track that down.

After a lot of tedious research, I found that The Dynomax Ultra Flow 39461 is ALL STAINLESS, muffler and pipes. The Dynomax Ultra Flow 19461is NOT ALL STAINLESS - the muffler is the same stainless, but the pipes are aluminized steel.

There is only about $50 difference between the two.

Prices for the 39461 range from $477.79 at Rock Auto to over $600 at Summit. Some places are even more!

The manufacturer's description makes me think it will be loud:

The unrestricted, straight-through design dyno proven to flow up to 2,000 SCFM and support up to 2,000 horsepower. Each muffler uses our exclusive Continuous Roving Fiberglass (CRF) Technology to absorb unwanted interior resonance while maintaining a deep performance tone. The 'Pure Unadulterated POWER' of DynoMax® Ultra Flo™ Welded mufflers are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty and exclusive 90-Day Performance & Sound Guarantee™.
Particularly the "unrestricted, straight through" and "Sound Guarantee" parts. But at least you've got 90 days to acclimate to it.

Here's an update guys: I finally got all the parts and installed the Dynomax Ultra Flow 39461 system on my 05 CTD yesterday. It was an easy install all by myself. Everything fit perfectly and aligned with the hangers. The only problem was the 304 stainless polished tip would not clamp down enough on the 4" pipe to hold itself on. I ended up taking an old piece of a stainless hose clamp, cutting the screw part off, and using it as a shim under the exhaust tip. Worked fine.

The pipes and muffler are either 409 or 419 magnetic stainless steel made in USA. The 304 tip is made in China.

Before removing the old muffler (which I had previously welded a new 4" piece on to make it last until the new system came), I did a test drive up a local road that has a steady grade. At 52 mph with the cruise on and the radio off and windows up I measured the sound with my DB app on my iPhone at 62-64 db. With the new system at the same speed the sound was 62-63 dp. The truck was locked up in 4th gear both times.

I did not get to try it on the freeway at 70 or 75 mph yet.

This new muffler is almost exactly the same as the OEM dodge muffler except made our of stainless and welded instead of rolled. Dimension-wise almost exactly the same. Inlet and outlet the same. Baffles almost the same - 4" in and 4" out, with the baffles looking the same from each end with a flashlight. THIS IS NOT A STRAIGHT THROUGH MUFFLER!

I'll try to post some pictures from my phone here.

This description proved to be wrong. It's not a straight through muffler. I even wrote to Dynomax and they said the baffled design was a better design for our Cummins trucks.
