Rear air suspension issues ?

Yes, I love the squeeze bags too!

I love watching this guy do this... man I wish I lived down south to have an outdoor lift like that...

Shows off how nice those squeeze bags are!

Just a bit shocked that they don’t use 75/140 for that application. Sounds like severe duty to me at 30k constant and occasional 40k.

I put 75 /140 in my rear differential . I was hauling a 3000 lbs truck camper which after 23 years have bought a 24 ft travel trailer so I will not be hauling heavy anymore and pulling 10 k with a 1000 to 1200 lbs tongue weight so will go backe to Amsoil 75/90 .

pretty sure I have 75w115 in my truck right now, simply because I grabbed four squeeze packs of Valvoline Syngear 75W140 out of the rack at Walmart
and when I was putting them in the truck I noticed two of the packs were 75w90 . I think I will be alright.

other thing that is interesting is Motor Oil SAE viscosity numbers are not equal to the Gear Lube rating numbers.

Amsoil sells 75/110 so you are close enough ,good to go !!!! So next time just go Amsoil 75/110 .:D

yeah right... all of the sudden I'm going to the dark side after 50 years of using the bestest cheapest stuff I can find that meets the specs..

I'm surprised there aint anybody on this forum pushing Hi Performance Lube or Royal Purple or is that cause for excommunication or possibly burning at the stake? :)

Sort of that's why I keep myself mostly out of these oil or tires threads. They tend to run forever and ever.

yeah, they do.. lets face it, for every person out there who wants to pamper their " precious investment" with the most expensive maintenance products on the market there is someone else who uses the 5 gallon pails of whatever is on sale at the farm and fleet... and they all get about the same result, but nobody will stop debating the merits of their own personal choice..

Kinda like comparing baby oil to Adam and eve’s intimate oils….

There’s two sides to this coin , let’s take someone, they slap in Amsoil , heard it’s the best thing since sliced bread. He goes 10k miles his differential goes out , he’s on the forums telling everyone don’t use Amsoil , you know , and I know that differential mostly likely was on its way out . Then there is this other guy ,he has run Amsoil for 500k in his differential , tells everyone don’t run anything , but Amsoil .

It shouldn’t matter to anyone what they run . I was at one time in that camp , why run that expensive stuff , but it’s not my truck . Run what you want .

I was joking when I suggested Amsoil to you . I don’t care what fluid you use .

it's not like I take to heart unsolicited advice about what anybody recommends anyway.. :)

From reading forums , I truly believe some "should" listen to the advice , but not all . :)[/QUOTE]

lets face it, some people are looking for someone to tell them what they want to hear, not what the data or the facts point at.
I know that there is no data that proves one brand of lube significantly outperforms a different brand of lube but some people still cling to that idea like it is 1950 and nothing will change their mind.

Well there is a famous Will Rogers Quote :

There are three kinds of men . The one that learns by reading. The few who learn by observation . The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence for themselves .
