Changed the filter and some fluid and did the bands today. While cleaning out the bottom of the pan I found the usual clutch material on the magnet (the black mushy stuff) but also found some fine copper colored dust and some not so fine :confused: copper filings down in the pan grooves. Just got back from the dealer after a supposed transmission flash. Under the hood the tech had written down TSB 18-07-99. The only problem is that I can't find that particular TSB on any lists. ????? I had my driveline balanced a few months back at a driveline shop and asked them to replace the joints while it was out. They told me that they were in great shape and that they were a good ujoint and normally go for 100k + (had 45k at the time). They could have sold me replacements but...
