    04.5 ecm reflash

I have had it twice, during heavy acceleration in cold climates while the engine is still not completely warmed up (140-150f) I just cleared them and have not had one in months. Let me know if you call banks about it, I would like to know what they have to say.

    04.5 ecm reflash

I called banks about the reflash and they encouraged it, said that the six gun would work fine with it. I have had good results with the reflash and the six gun. Regarding the dealer, I called and talked with the service manager about the box being on the pickup before I brought it in, I...

    Civility, Please!

I'm a newer member of only 28 years young, and I too have been turned off by the trash talk and have considered not renewing because of this problem. The trash talk makes usefull information hard to find and am pleased that something is being done. Thanks Chris Thom

    Kore Suspension Group buy

I am interested in a chase and maybe race system, depending on the price. I'm not swimmin in money but could be temped in this purchase if the break is big enough.

    Banks Monster muffler

I had a banks exhaust, I sent it back due to false claim (shipped at the expense of Banks). They told me that the exhaust was only 3 db louder and it was clearly much louder that 3db. Later, during the return process they "clarified" that the 3 db is at idle. What the heck does any one care...

Banks 6 gun not impresive, your results ???

I have been running the six gun w/ speed loader for 7 months and have had positive results, a few codes but nothing serious. The power is very noticeable between the lower and higher settings and level 6 is a little touchy on the throttle but I have become acustom to it and perfer the extra...

    )4.5 Seats Suck Eggs

Those that do not have a problem with the seat will never understand the full extent of pain and the possible nerve damage that these seats can cause. I have suffered a great deal and currently sit on 3-4 inches of bathroom towel to raise me off of the bars (it kind of works). I have talked with...

    In cab air filter?

I have been using one on my 04 for 6 months and it works well. I still get dust in the cab (not sure if it is coming through the door seals, window when it is down, or the vents) but the large particles have been cut down considerably (no more corn chaff during harvest). A hepa filter layer...

Step Tubes, Boards etc. What do you have?

I have Nerf bars made by XL BOARDS, 3" ss bar wheel to wheel with anodized aluminum covering the top of the bar. cost me about $750 for a quad cab '04. No drilling about a 1 hour install. Very stong mounts and bar. I am 290lbs and can jump up and down on them with only minimal flex and no...

    Tube steps and DRW

I purchased a set of xl nerf boards for my pickup. They are nerf bars with anodized aluminum on top to form a step. I bought them from the company owner in Nebraska. He is a great guy to deal with and showed me the dodge quad cab dually wheel to wheel version and they looked very nice. Here is...

    Auto transmission fluid temperatures

I usually run under 130 empty with outside temps above 70F, and the guage never moves if it is less than 50F. I have seen over 200 on a long steep (20 degree slope or better at less than 10mph for over 15 min)grade in low lock while hunting in the mountains.

    I Got Waxed!!!

I have only driven a few hemi's, and can say that I was not impressed, The 98' 1500 with a 360 would have stayed close to the hemi's I have driven. I have driven a lot of stock gm pickups with a 350 that were much more impressive. May be the hemi's where lemons and light on power, or they needed...

Why not lower the rear instead of leveling the front with coil spacers?

I lowered the rear by moving the spacer. I was happy with the results on the highway, however this kill the suspension travel and is a very limiting factor offroad. My truck now bottoms out very easily and I would not recommend this to anyone that may need the suspension travel for offroad use...
