I just had to pull a friends 18ft car trailer this week and with an 8" drop the front axle tires (two axle trailer) were *just* on the ground. I ordered this 10" drop hitch from truck performance to solve the problem.

Can anyone answer why all the dually's I've seen seem to have the front hubs stick way outside the outer edge of the front tire and non dually's are just normal? My only guesses are that it's something to do with the track width of the rear maybe, but it doesn't seem like the tires sit out...
