I carry tow chains in mine and tow straps in the other. The chains weigh around 15 pounds I would guess. Haven't lost them yet to gravity.

When this issue occurred, the truck was used to pull a stock trailer for about 200 miles over flat/hilly terrain. There was city driving after that. Since returning, it has not done it since. This brings up another question. Why would the regen process cause a loss/delay in power during driving...

How long does a regen take? This occurred several times over a 3 day period.

Makes sense now jus2shy. I wish it would do it when I was driving down the interstate and not when I was at the light in town.

My 2015, 3500 has a clicking noise that comes from under the right side of the cab. I hear it when the truck has been running and is idling. Any ideas? Maybe the exhaust system? :confused:

My 2015 (22,000 miles) has never indicated that it has gone into regen. I do get a rich smelling diesel exhaust smell now and then when I am stopped. Not sure what that is from.

I have a 2015 Tradesman and I love it. I have few extras and the lack of power seats never crosses my mind.
