04.5 egt's/boost

No gauges in my new ride yet. Curious if anybody has put pyrometer/boost gauges in their 04. 5 yet and what kind of numbers they are seeing, especially under load and at shutdown with normal driving.



I'm also curious what kind of boost "characteristics" they are seeing as working up through the gears. Sure feels like boost comes on slow. Thanks.

It is not your imagination with the boost. Because of the electronic wastgate and the way they have it set up you dont get all the pressure in first through third. I am sure it is set up that way to protect the truck. 4 gear and up you can feel all the boost.

Guess I need to get with it and get some gauges in there and see for myself. Feels strange not to have them especially at shutdown.
