Bob, is this deal good only on trucks or will he be willing work a deal on a Caravan? My paremts are looking at getting one this spring.

I just have to say that I've been dealing with Tomeygun for the past few weeks trying to figure out what I want to do regarding a new truck vs a used one.

He has been absolutely amazing to deal with. I am still unsure of which direction I want to go (new vs used) - but I honestly never thought a new car salesman would be this responsive and helpful.

Big props to Tomeygun - this is how a salesman should be IMO.

I'm sure Butch will deal on a new Caravan, give him a call. You probably will not get quite the discount, but he will make it right.

Murle,

Again like I have stated before, I am not affliated with Dishman Dodge in any way. Just passing on a good deal. :D

Bob, thanks, I'll get in touch with Dishman.

More FREE advertising???????????

murle, you've stated your opinion before, we all know what you think. From now on, how about you just being quite on this thread? No one wants to hear any more about this from you.

This has been amusing. there are simply no free lunches. After you get your new Ram for less than actual dealer cost, do you expect a free loaner car when the Ram is being serviced ?

California Certified Trucks???

Can someone please explain what the difference is in the California Certified Trucks?

I've seen them advertised at some of the local Phoenix dealers. Do they have more emmissions equipment on them?

Thanks.

Ironicly no, They are the exactly same, But all CA trucsk are tested, where-as the 49 other state's trucks are only 1 out of like 100 are tested

(at least thats what I heard)

Bob is this for all trucks on the lot or just ordered ones? I heard the order cutoff date for the '05s was April 12th, but I could be wrong. Vaughn

FWIW - For my site it is on orders and in-stock units, and you can use all rebates you can find (as long as they work together)

And CA emissions trucks are available on orders only

To ansqwer your ? Vaughn - Yes, 05 ordering is done, I start 2006 ordering may 2nd -And megacab starts one month later :)

Merle, Invoice is what the dealer pays DC for the vehicle. The dealer buys the vehicle for invoice. It then sits on the lot for however long it takes to sell. When it is sold the dealer then gets back any money due him. If the dealer has sold enough cars for that month then they get a bonus. The bonus can change monthly and some months they won't get a bonus. Thats how it works. Also, the dealer is charged interest for having the vehicle, this is called floor plan. It can cost roughly $30-50 per car per day. that is one reason that they can give that special deal on an ordered vehicle, because they know it will not eat up floor plan money. SOOOOOO invoice is what they pay. And by the way, I sold at a Chrysler Jeep dealership for 16 years and there is no way that a dishonest salesperson will last at any dealership. So implying that tomeyGun is dishonest shows really how smart you arent.

I sure would have liked to have been the one to sell you that mustang, cause you know they aren't giving those away!!!!

Vaughn,

Call Butch, he will make you a great deal! Oo.

Hey Bob, I miss my '03 sometimes but I like my '96 fine and will be sticking with it awhile. One thing though if I get another new truck, it'll be a 2-wheel drive for sure :D

Excusess are like armpits everyone has two of them. If the dealer gets a bonus for selling the cars then his final cost for the car is not the invoice price. That is why in the ads it says" invoice price may not reflect the price payed by the dealer" Invoice price or 1000. 00 over invoice price is just a play on words... ... I guess it just depends on what the word "is" means. :-laf Just put a price on the product and sell it for that. No bull. No,"Were losing money on every car deal. " "We won't stay in business sell cars at these prices. " "Or buyer made a mistake and bought too many cars, we are selling them below cost. " ( Wonder if that buyer is still working for that dealer?) It is just the BS that turns me off on car dealers.
