Congrats jarsong! Bet you can't wait to bring it home. What color?

Are you around Coeur d' Alene? You venture by NW Bombers sometimes? You been on this site almost as long as I have.

I ended up getting 29K for the 01. But it was a 10. Yea Vaughn, Since I was on here last I cashed in my Western Washington Chips and headed east. Now outside of Spokane a little bit and loving in...

Truck Color is Brilliant Black Crystal. There was a used one there that had been "Bombed". I really liked the truck but just shifted strange, bucked and stuff. Well after I popped the hood it was clear that it had had some major HP at some point. Had glue on the fuse box, after market air cleaner, plugs missing in the wire plug where the chip plugged in. I decided there was to much risk to have a warranty VOIDED down the road... Rear tires were in need of being replaced soon... . SO I opted for the new one for the little bit of difference...

jarsong, I think you did the right thing getting the new truck versus the other one.

Whether or not your '01 was a 10 you're not going to find people plunking down $29k for a 6-year old truck. You did well.

Spokane is a nice area. . . you oughta come to Diesel Thunder next year, it's always a good time. It was back at Shelley's automotive (near exit 293).

Both Dave Smith(Kellogg ID) and Dishman (Spokane WA) have done this for a long time... the usuall deal is invoice, less 1000, less rebates, less farm bureau discount of 500..... and they stand FIRM on that... I use Marty something at Dave Smith and Rob Crosswhite at dishman... . both are nice to work with... . between the 2 its now like 6 or 7 trucks, cars, and a jeep... ...

I'm very pleased with both dealers... . very soft spoken, the only issue is that they move so many vehicles it takes so long to get one picked up... . BTW, they both offer pick up service at the airport... and will fax quotes..... give them a try...

I totally agree. SPecially Dishman! Rich Bowman was awesome, they just didn't have the right truck... I told him though I was VERY happy with the service given and in the future would use them.

I must say though that the Tom Addis Experience was Equally impressive. VERY low keyed, prices on accessories were awesome. They took the truck right then and detailed it and then brought it to me to see and drive. The detailer said he still could see a couple water spots on it and he would get those out before I get the truck. I briefly Explained the pricing from Ds and Dsh and they never balked for a minute... No negot. at all. Then as he was leaving I said, oh yea how about a fillup, he said sure... As we were leaving he said do you want us to deliver the truck? I'm like WOW!!!! Sure... Really was the red carpet treatment. When we bought our last truck from Dave Smith, well the customer serverice was horrible but we were saving so much we just tolerated it. ANyhow, I'm a happy customer and can not wait to get the dually home this week. Last one was a 6 speed... this one is an Auto, not sure I'm so happy about that for the BOmb'ing factor, but oh well.
