With say a #10 plate.
Sliding it forward will make the Gov arm sit/rest further down the ramp? Yes?
That means when the fuel plate starts kicking in. You will get more fuel at a lower RPM because the Gov arm is sitting further down the ramp? Yes?
Then the problem may be that as your RPMs increase, the truck will start going into the defueling part of the plate sooner at a lower rpm hurting your higher RPM high load top end power/speed? Yes?
