I used a 3/4" pipe close nipple and a lug nut. Some use a pry bar and a lug nut. Others have created elaborate slide hammer pullers.

After you take the fuel line off, drop the nipple down over the injector and screw the lug nut on the end of the injector. It'll pull it right out.

Sorry, no pics of actually pulling the injector. I did fail to mention that you do have to remove the injector retainer nut :)rolleyes:) before dropping the nipple over the injector. Here's a pic of the nipple.

First remove the fuel lines (A) and the return lines (C). Then remove the retainer nut (B). Then just drop the nipple over the injector and thread the lug nut (from off your truck) where the injector line nut screws on. Tighten the lug nut up until the injector is loose. Very simple, really.

3/4" is the NPT (National Pipe Thread) size. Just go to your local hardware store or somewhere like Lowes and tell them "I want a 3/4" pipe close nipple. " That should get you what you want. As you see in the pic the nipple is all threads, no smooth pipe. If they hand you a nipple that shows any smooth surface, they gave you the wrong one. It should be @ 1 1/2" inches long.
