IIRC, I had ~155k on my truck when I put the 370s I used to run, in. Bigger sticks now. :D

Injectors alone, the trans would probably be OK. In addtion to the chip, I wouldn't guarantee it.

DO THE TRANS FIRST. so much of the upgrades are absorbed by the stock torque converter it's silly. when i did my trans it was just like a power upgrade cause there was much less of my existing HP lost in the stock TC and shifts.

i put an edge J/A in a buddies second gen with the stock transmission and there was little power increase until the TC locked. He was so disappointed... . especially after seeing the difference in my truck. i did warn him though.

if you do the trans right you'll have a TON of room for future upgrades. and your existing HP will get to the groud simulating an HP upgrade.

just my opinion.

good luck, jeff

understood..... i was real happy with my 1. 6 sticks. better mpg and smooth power. not sure what kind of heat that will give you though. i think they were 80 hp.

good luck, j

Gary, I installed the rv275's in my truck @ 70kmi and really like them. If you can keep your foot out of it you can gain a little in mileage. I took the Superchips off as it really smokes on any level, and I still have stock clutch. I added an Anti Defueling Device (ADD) from Haisley Machine which lets the boost go over the 18 I was getting. My wife laughed at me the first time she rode after the sticks, "you'll get a ticket now for sure". Needless to say I don't get any better mileage but the grin factor alone is worth it. With our rv in tow the egt's are still ok. Ponz
