I'm the proud owner of a 1998 2500 12 Valve Short Box Mega Cab. I recently converted from a 47Re to an NV4500. I've been fixing as I go and just replaced all the ball joints. I noticed I've got a bad joint on my drag link as well so was in the process of replacing it when I've ran into some issues. It seem the previous owner upgraded to the T-Style system already. I picked up a Moog DS800981A complete steering linkage and started changing it out. That's when the headaches stated. This does not work with the stock pitman arm. After consulting several "experts" at online parts stores I now have three pitman arms and none of them work. I was sent another stock one, two of the right looking ones but both are different sizes and both are two big for the sector shaft on my steering box. Does anyone have the right part number for this conversion?
