2000 Stratus

My Son in Law being the stupid kid he is (actually he's not so bad) drove his 2000 Stratus low on oil. This destroyed the bearings elongated the hole in the pistons and I guess wore the crank pretty badly. Is there some place that has these parts at a reasonable price. The other option we were looking at was to replace the motor with a used motor out of a wrecked Stratus.



Anyone have any ideas

Find a low milage replacement at your local "Bone-yard".

Pull a comfortable chair out to the garage, next to a cooler full of your beverage of choice, and supervise his work.

After doing all the work once, he'll remember to check the oil next time.
