Last night as I was driving down to the auto parts store, I passed by the back lot of a Dodge dealer and spotted 4 new 2500's in a new color. I figured since they were in a new color, then maybe these were 2002 trucks that had just arrived,so I stopped by to check them out on my way back from the parts store.
I looked at the window stick to see the new color was called Atlantic Blue Metallic... it's that same medium blue that was previously used on the Jeep CJ's. I remember a couple of years back thinking this color would look awesome on a Ram,and it does! The thing that really threw me for a loop was that these trucks weren't 2002's... the window stickers all said 2001's.
Why would DC add a new color this late in the 2001 model year especially when you can't even order one?
On my way home from work this morning,a car hauler passed me and it was carrying two new Durangos in the same Atlantic color. It looked okay, but was definitely alot nicer on the 2500's.
