2007 5.9 auto P0882 Code

2007 5.9 auto 249,000 miles. Recently had trans built. 1 week later put injectors in. Now, when grid heaters cycle, while letting truck warm up, I get a P0882 code and truck goes in into limp mode in transmission until I shut truck down for several minutes and grid heaters do not cycle on restart. truck runs fine after that.

If I plug truck in, and grid heaters do not cycle, transmission does not go into limp mode.

Not finding much on this. Any help would be appreciated.

P0882 = Trans 12V supply relay control circuit low.

That relay delivers 12V power to trans for operation.
Check out that relay.
