I have a 1999 24' Bigfoot tandem trailer that I bought new in 2000 and have not seen another one in my travels. The Bigfoot brand is very niece and I have had no trouble with it. In talking to some other campers they said they have seen one or two in the States. I was wondering if any one has one( or seen one) and if they have had any problems with it. Bigfoot calls this a 24' but it is 26. 5 ' from back of bumper to front of the hitch. They also made a 27' model and have since stopped production of the 24' and 27'( in 2000) and now make a 25' model. Bigfoot is made in British Columbia and are sold throught out the United States and Canada.

We see Bigfoot trailers and campers every few weeks, usually coming down from Canada. I very seldom see a U. S. registered one. I hear they are very well built,if a bit heavy for their size. I don't see that as a negative, as it means well built to me most of the time. If you would like more info on them, there are quite a few RV only sites that have free forums. RVerscorner.com is one of them that I know of. There are others, but I don't know them off the top of my head.

dvaughn,

I see a lot of thier slide in campers, in fact it is one that I am consdering. As far as trailers, few and far between, maybe one or two a year headind down to Mt St Helens.

You might want to try a search on both RV sites, iRV2, and RV.net.

Hey, DBCooper, did the FBI ever come looking for you in the early 70's? Or were you living someplace else? :D:D:D:D

On the subject... what are the frame dimensions on the Bigfoot trailers? What are the structural members made of? I ran across one here in Omaha that had aluminum framing in the body with steel main frame rails. Looked a little less likely to fall apart if the roof ever sprung a leak like my Dutchmen's did:mad: !

Big Foot makes a great (and pricey) truck camper and they are sold by Mann's in Rutland, MA. I don't know if they handle the trailers as well.
