2nd gen tork lifts to 3rd gen

Picked up the 06 last week and noticed the old 1996 tork lift mounts are not the same. :{ I have been busy getting the fisher plow on before we get snow and haven't had time to study how or if i can adapt them over. Has any one did this ?

Any pictures of how the 3rd gen tork lifts mount would help.

I'll try and get some pics for you this evening.



The rear tie downs bolt to the frame where the hitch is bolted.



The front tie downs use bolt holes that exist in the frame and where the bed bolts to a tab off the frame. A wire tool for snaking the bolts through the frame and bed channel is provided for installation.

Some folks suggest selling the old ones and buying new. If I had seen your post I could have made an offer as I purchased a brand new set for a friends truck Friday evening for $400 + $84 shipping.

Im such a cheap bugger i will have to try and adapt the 2nd gen ones before I spring for the 3rd gen ones. $$$$
