3g power

i drove a 3g the other day in pa, and am concerned that it may not pull as well as my 01. it was a 3500 qc, ho six speed with 4. 1 gears. my truck is totally stock with 50000k and seems to have a lot more power and torque in 5th and 6th gear from what i could tell from the test drive. Is this true. Are you seeing much more power after a few thousand miles and i should not worry about it? Whats the deal?

They get a lot better with a few thousand on them. They become more responsive, quite and smooth. I've been surprised at the changes. Try it, you'll like it!
