I put my springs in a while back. I watched what they will do and such now I am just wondering this.

I can rev to 4000 and that is fine. If you are driving it will pull hard to 2500 then it seems like like you over rev it past 2500 and you need to shift.

My question is what do I need to do so it will pull hard to 3500 to 4000 rpm?

thanks

What plate do you have installed? Unless its custom ground, all plates defuel at 2800rpm (approx)

take your plate out and grind 3/16" off the upper side past the highest grind point.

(i`m using logic based on my limited experience with the 7100 pump, i very well could be wrong, someone should stop by to confirm/deny this) but, doing that grind cant hurt anything

good luck

wouldnt do that. . you can fubar the gov arm if you have too much travel, and theres been discussion about better overall power with a plate in.

with no plate, technically the pump should pump fuel thru the whole curve. . but if it ran better with no plate, why would bosch put one in?

just my opinion heh

Thanks for input on plate. I just could not get more fuel with the plate in so out it came now the fuel is good but above 2500 it sucks need power to 4000 rpm... . Oo.
