Ok, ?Here is an oil choice question for you guys. Its time to change the oil.
Things I understand: The factory uses synthetic GL-4
Dealer Oil: Recomended, but I feel like I am being robbed at $23. 00 per quart.
Amsoil 75-90 Series 2000: This is also synthetic, but is GL-5. It sounds like as long as I keep the trans oil temp below 240 deg. I will not have a problem with the additives plating on the syncros. How hot does a trans get?
Amsoil 80-90 AGT: This is also synthetic, and is GL-4. Why not use this?
I would like to hear why or why not use any of the above. I figure with the Amsoil, I can change it 5 times for the cost of one change of Dodge Fluid!
I have already seen the posts about "what you run", I am looking for reasons Why not to run The Amsoil 80-90 AGT.
