Ongoing no start dilemma

Block heater watts?

Welcome to try mine if you need one.

96 Auto.

It's not a spare, but not currently being used.

If you think there are wiring issues would suck to hurt 2, but I'm willing to roll the dice with ya.

My speed sensor has been modified since I run a Fluidmpr, it gets re routed with those so I made a nicer harness. But I think I just extended my harness I forget would have to look. You can try that as well if you wanted to, doesn't have 500 miles on it brand new probably a Cummins or whom ever they source them from and rebox.

Have you looked over any drawings, been a while since I did any digging on the diagrams.

i have stuff to do tomorrow but with all 3 pcm's plugs pulled i still had 1 wire nothing, (test light) center hot brite w/test light 3rd wire was dim ( like 5 volts). i would like to check tps to see if any juice going to it while all plugs out of pcm

I can FedEx it to you, would need to pull it, could maybe pull it tomorrow and ship on Wed for a Friday arrival depending on how the stars align, will toss in a return slip so when you have it sorted ship something back.

You can PM an address and will sort it out.

I have the shipping covered so no worries there.

Unless you have a local resource for one atleast this is an option to try it out.

Are you talking about the wiring at the ESS connector? The only power to it is the 5-volt supply, the other two wires are the signal and ground. None of the three should have 12-volts to it.

wow thanks for the offer. i want to check dss wire w/multimeter that should have no power when PCM is unplugged?. its getting cold and that sucks, next few days i got stuff to do. were do you live ? i don't want you to pay any thing, this is my plow/back up vehicle. have the 20 eco diesel as a daily driver........again thanks

I'm in NW NJ, shipping we have a decent FedEx rate at the shop, too far to drive for sure. Will call it R&D.

Work it out on your end as needed, offer stands. Mine is a spare truck and I took it apart to do the Trans and the project stalled.

Hoping to get it back together by 2024!

Really should sell it but don't need the cash and it's inside the garage so not really in the way. If I get rid of it will just buy somewhere project to sit in that bay.

This should be correct for the '97. The only one that should have power to it is the 5-volt supply, and only when the key is on. It would make your test light glow dimly.

Sounds like a cool Ramcharger, he is not too far from me, have not had a chance to meet up but he's about 45 minutes a little south.
