I wonder if anyone else has this problem. It seems like I have to have the a/c recharged every 2-3 years. I had to charge it last year, and now I have to again. I always have them put dye in the system so they can check for leaks. But nothing ever shows up.

I had it charged last March/April. In Octoberr, it was blowing as cold as it was when I had it charged. But now, nothing. The system was completely empty.

Any ideas ?

I had the same problem with a 94 and a 99. I put a can of stop leak (dont thank that is what they colled it). It has been over 5 years on the 94 and I used it yesterday. The 99 has been fine now for 2 years. If you like, I will get the name and who makes it. It comes it a small charge can and is easy to put in. I was told that it works on the seals and doesnt hurt anything. You know they are going to tell you that, but it hasnt hurt mine as far as I can tell and they are run a bunch.

Probably the evap coil is leaking. I'd try the stop leak HCannon mentioned before pulling the dash to R & R the evap. I've seen many posts here about the dash R & R and it don't look like fun . . .
