I ordered the Drawtite 65003 front hitch from Miley's (www.miley.com) because they had by far the lowest price I could find. $106. 95 I believe. I ordered online at their site, and it checked out (and the reciept showed) $106. 95 for the hitch, $0. 00 for shipping (cool, I thought), and since I wasn't in PA, no tax. $106. 95 total. I recieved it a few days later (pretty good service), and it was shipped with a reciept where they charged me $116. 95 ($10 shipping). Charging more than a customer authorized is a real bad move, and I could probably get them in serious trouble for it. The other problem is they shipped the hitch with no box (what is wrong with people, too many people do this these days). All the powder coating was scratched and banged up, and they even stuck the UPS sticker (the big white one) right to the hitch. I spent over an hour peeling stickers off (all of them, including the Drawtite sticker), sanding the hitch, and then later painting it with some Rustoleum.

All in all, I'm not going to complain to them too loudly about it, because the hitch was still cheap. But to charge an unauthorized $10 for shipping, and then not even put it in a box so it gets beat up on the way here is pretty bad. I just wanted to prepare anyone else who orders from them. . Still, $116 + $5 of paint is a good deal, and the hitch looks better than it did brand new.

Next you need stickers removed heat them with a hair dryer they peel off real easy when they are pretty warm and WD 40 will remove the glue, let it soak a few minutes.

David ,
I would have been ****** too. You should not have to paint & scrape a shipping sticker off a new hitch. I would have sent it back with a letter saying to send me a new one properly packaged for shipping.

I would have said I paid for a NEW hitch, not a USED one. A NEW one is not beat-up & scraped up and should not require sanding and a coat of paint.

I hate stuff like that. #ad

I orderd my Drawtite hitch from a local vendor and it came shipped to them without a box, mine wasn't all scratched up though.
You probably should keep the sticker with the capacities incase you ever need them for the long arm of the law.
Caleb

P. S. Just realized that you said front hitch, capacity plate is probably not as important as on a rear hitch.

I installed it last night. That was a lot more work than I thought it would be, thanks to that **** swaybar. #ad
Looks great though with the new paint job. I don't like the way it happened, but being forced to repaint it (I tried that hammered finish black rustoleum which looks more charcoal like) made it look a million times better, especially without that big chrome drawtite sticker.

I sent Miley's an email complaining too, hopefully they'll get their act together.

Tonight, I install my triple A pillar. #ad
